ChoicePoint’s new STEP ONE product allows your company to save both time and money by identifying applicants that are not eligible for hire during the early stages of the hiring process.  STEP ONE accepts key information from your company about these former employees such as the following:

First Name
Middle Name

Last Name

Last Known Address

Social Security Number

Date of Birth

Driver’s License

Date Not Eligible for Hire

Reason Not Eligible for Hire
 

The information about these former employees/volunteers can be sent to ChoicePoint on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis in XML, comma delimited or Excel formats.

ChoicePoint will store this information in a database and make it available to your company (and your company only) in one of the following ways: 

AUTOMATICALLY

ChoicePoint will compare any applicants that your company sends to us for screening to this database as STEP ONE in the screening process. If an applicant/volunteer is not eligible for hire, we will notify your company of that fact and stop the screening process. Your company saves the time, money and effort that would normally be involved in further screening the candidate.

WEB and IVR ACCESS

Access to the STEP ONE database is available to your organization at any time during the hiring process.  Login codes and passwords can be assigned for security purposes.
